Chelsea offered £133M double-deal for two Real Madrid stars

Chelsea have been offered a mega-money deal to sign two Real Madrid stars, according to Diario Gol.

As per Diario Goal, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is prepared to sell Chelsea both Alvaro Morata and James Rodriguez if the Premier League champions are prepared to meet their combined £133M price-tag.

The Spanish outlet believe that Chelsea were previously interested in signing Morata, but Manchester United jumped to the front of the queue to sign the 24-year-old and Chelsea pulled out of negotiations.

Diario Gol believe that Chelsea have now been given another opportunity at signing Morata, but may well be forced to sign Rodriguez too. It is reported that Perez is keen to kill two birds with one stone, and has given Chelsea the opportunity to help him do that.

It remains to be seen whether Chelsea would be interested in doing so, but one thing’s for sure, it would be a real statement of intent.

Chelsea face uphill battle recruiting Juventus star

Chelsea face uphill battle recruiting Juventus star

Chelsea appear to be facing an uphill battle in their pursuit of Juventus left-back Alex Sandro.

According to Tuttosport, Chelsea have already lodged a £53M bid for the Brazil international, but that is not expected to be enough to convince his current employers to part with him.

Tuttosport believe that the Premier League champions may have to offer a fee in the region of £64M if they want to land the former FC Porto defender this summer – which is a hell of a lot for a left-back.

The Italian outlet believe that Chelsea also face interest from Paris Saint-Germain in the race to secure Sandro’s services, so Antonio Conte cannot waste any time if he is serious about recruiting him this summer.

If, as Tuttosport report, we have bid as high as £53M, what’s an extra £11M for signing one of the best full-backs on the planet. If we’re genuinely looking to challenge on all fronts next season, these are the sort of signings we need to be making. Get it done.

Chelsea target hints he could be on the move this summer

Has AS Roma midfield general Radja Nainggolan just dropped a major hint that he will be on the move this summer?

There’s been somewhat of a fire sale going on at Roma this summer. Mohamed Salah joined Liverpool, Leandro Parades moved to Zenit, and on Sunday Antonio Rudiger’s transfer to Chelsea was officially announced.

A couple of days ago, Chelsea were linked by The Sun with a move to sign Nainggolan. In the tabloid’s report they note that sporting director Monchi has insisted that the Belgium international will not be sold this summer, but Nainggolan may well have just hinted otherwise.

101greatgoals posted the below screenshot on Twitter. Kevin Strootman reveals that he hopes he will not have to say goodbye to any of his Roma teammates this summer, Nainggolan suggests that he may well have to. Former Blue Mohamed Salah then got in on the act.

It is unclear whether Nainggolan is suggesting he will be on the move, or another of his teammates, but if The Sun’s report is true, and Chelsea do want to sign him – this could offer them some encouragement.

Antonio Rudiger has taken to Instagram to introduce himself to the Chelsea faithful.

Rudiger’s move to Stamford Bridge was completed on Sunday afternoon, for what the BBC reported to be an initial £29M fee. It may well prove to be a small price to pay for a player who already has plenty of experience at the top, despite being just 24-years-old.

The German international read his C.V aloud on Instagram, before revealing his delight at becoming a Blue.

Arsenal superstar would welcome Chelsea move

New Post has been published on http://www.talkchelsea.net/transfers/alexis-sanchez-would-welcome-move-to-chelsea-with-open-arms/

Arsenal superstar would welcome Chelsea move

Alexis Sanchez would welcome a move to Premier League champions Chelsea with open arms, according to the Daily Mail.

Sanchez is inarguably one of the best players in the Premier League, and belongs at one of the best clubs. Unfortunately for him, he’s being held at Arsenal, seemingly against his will.

As per the Daily Mail, the Chilean would happily move from North London to West and join Chelsea, one there is one, major problem.

The tabloid note that Arsenal have made it abundantly clear that Sanchez will not be sold to a direct rival. Unfortunately, that includes us.

Sanchez is the sort of signing we should be targeting. A statement, a player that would help re-establish ourselves as a European superstar, but unfortunately, he plays for the wrong club.

The days of Arsenal selling to their competitive rivals appear to be over, and Antonio Conte will subsequently need to look elsewhere in his pursuit of attacking reinforcements.

Sporting director insists Chelsea target is not for sale

Chelsea’s pursuit of AS Roma midfiel general Radja Nainggolan is looking more and more difficult as the days pass.

Nainggolan has established himself as one of the best midfielders in the world in recent seasons. His meteoric rise in Roma does not appear to have gone unnoticed across Europe.

Calciomercato report that both Manchester United and Inter Milan will provide Chelsea will stern competition in the race to sign Nainggolan.

However, the Italian outlet note that Roma’s sporting director, Monchi, has insisted that the Belgium international will not be leaving the club in the summer transfer window.

It looks as though by pursuing Nainggolan we are attempting to scale a brick wall, if Monchi is to be believed, he is not on the market this summer.

Antonio Conte ought to look elsewhere in his pursuit of midfield reinforcements, to avoid wasting his time on a target he is unlikely to be able to sign.

Rudiger set to undergo Chelsea medical today

Antonio Rudiger will undergo a medical in London today ahead of a move to Chelsea, according to The Sun.

As per The Sun, Rudiger is on the verge of joining the Premier League champions, in a move that will set Chelsea back a whopping £34M.

Rudiger has proven himself able to perform consistently in one of Europe’s top five leagues, and also for the German national team, that may be a small price to pay for an accomplished centre-back, who is only going to get better.

The Sun believe that Rudiger’s arrival could see Cesar Azpilicueta shifted out to right-wing-back. It is unclear where that would leave Victor Moses, who was one of the surprise stars of the season last time around.

The tabloid note that Rudiger’s arrival is unlikely to have any impact on Gary Cahill and David Luiz, who are expected to continue at the heart of Antonio Conte’s back three.

Conte to hold crunch talks with Chelsea board

Furious Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is set to hold crunch talks with the board, according to the Express.

As per the Express, the Premier League champions missing out on Romelu Lukaku to competitive rivals Manchester United has infuriated Conte, who is now back home in Italy considering his future with the Blues.

The tabloid believe that Conte is disgruntled that the Chelsea board have not been able to provide him with his transfer targets, and is now set to hold talks with the club to discuss his future.

Conte has every right to be unhappy, but it would be the biggest mistake in the Roman Abramovich era to allow him to walk out the door. At the time of writing, he is arguably the best manager in the world, and we’re going to need him if we want to re-establish ourselves as a European superpower.

Give him what he wants, Roman.

Chelsea target wants to leave Real Madrid in next 48 hours

Chelsea are interested in signing Real Madrid star James Rodriguez, who is pushing for a move away from Los Blancos, according to AS.

AS report that Rodriguez has asked his agent to seal his exit from the Bernabeu in the next 48 hours, as he does not want to be on the plane that jets off to the USA for Real Madrid’s pre-season tour.

As per AS, Chelsea are very interested in signing Rodriguez, but will face stern competition from both Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United. He will not come cheap, either, as the Spanish outlet note that Real Madrid will demand a fee in the region of £61M if they are to be convinced to part with him this summer.

Southampton hoping to sign Chelsea youngster on loan

Southampton hoping to sign Chelsea youngster on loan

Southampton are hoping to sign Chelsea youngster Ruben Loftus-Cheek on a season-long loan, according to the Mirror.

Loftus-Cheek was initially given a few opportunities in the side by Antonio Conte at the beginning of last term, but the minutes he was getting on the field quickly tailed off.

The natural next step for the Englishman is a loan to a Premier League side, where he can continue his development and continue to grow into the player he’s destined to be.

There does not appear to be any shortage of interest from England’s top tier. As per the Mirror, newly-promoted Newcastle and Brighton are both in the race to sign Loftus-Cheek, but they may be set to miss out to a Premier League counterpart.

The Mirror believe that Southampton, who have a reputation of developing promising youngsters into stars, are also keen to draft in Loftus-Cheek this summer. Crystal Palace are also said to be interested, but the Saints remain favourites.
